Planning for the new school year: 8 essentials you haven't thought of yet!

You’ve thought of everything this year: the traditional notebooks, pencils, clothes and all the items on the school supplies list. Wait! There are still a few little things that will help you plan for the start of the school year. Here is our list of must-haves that you may not have thought of yet!
1. An umbrella
Well yes, like every fall, it will rain this year! Are your little schoolchildren ready to wait for the bus in the rain? With a nice umbrella designed for children, gray days will be much more pleasant.
2. A reusable ice pack
Because we like to bring out our green side and instill good values in our children, here’s how to keep your lunches cool in an ecological way. No leaking gel, just fill them with water in this reusable ice pack.
3. Customizable labels
There’s no need to spend entire evenings (and nights!) labeling all your offspring’s items. Keep it simple and order your child name labels directly. As well as being original, they allow your children to recognize and quickly differentiate their school belongings.

5. An alarm clock
The start of the school year also means a return to routine! What better way to give children a little independence and get them involved in the family routine than to give them an alarm clock. They will then be responsible for waking themselves up, as well as reading the time displayed.
6. A bag for physical education or sports clothing
Many schools request it and we have to admit that we find it very useful. The small bag allows you to take your PE kit, trainers or shorts in winter back home. If your children take part in extracurricular activities, it can also be used to carry a change of clothes.
7. A mask
Some children will have to wear a mask when they go back to school, and some will want to do as mom, dad, big brother or big sister. Maybe you had already thought about it, but it’s a must for the start of the school year. Opt for a model designed especially for children for maximum comfort.
