Based at the Trois Rivières Shopping Center and under the direction of the Marketing Director of shopping centers, as well as in collaboration with the operations teams, the Marketing Coordinator will be at the forefront to animate and promote our shopping centers (Centre les Rivières and Plaza de la Mauricie). As a Coordinator, you will need to develop, in collaboration with various teams, a marketing plan, then implement it and keep it alive on a daily basis. Your plan must have a 360° vision and touch on all facets of marketing; from the development of the plan, to the creation of content for digital platforms, to the coordination of events, including:

  • Implementing all marketing and communication activities for the shopping center(s), respecting strategic orientations, the annual marketing plan, timelines, budgets, and brand image;
  • Collaborating on social media management, coordinating the creation and publication of content, and animating the various platforms;
  • Ensuring the website is updated;
  • Being responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all events and field activations;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with retailers, suppliers, center staff, the community, and service companies;
  • Monitoring foot traffic and presenting periodic reports to the management team;
  • Ensuring liaison with the head office marketing team to coordinate marketing efforts;
  • Conducting analyses (during and after campaigns), then compiling survey results and presenting them in collaboration with retailers;
  • Coordinating the preparation and distribution of written communications and training materials for tenants;
  • Managing the annual budget;
  • Performing any other related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent;
  • Having 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position; (Experience in retail is an asset);
  • Being available (depending on events) evenings and weekends + travel between Shawinigan and Trois-Rivières at least once a week + planning a visit to our offices in Quebec (Place de la Cité) each quarter.
  • Mastering the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Knowledge of the retail industry;
  • Ease and interest in social media and content creation.
